ABOUT ME

Erin K. Colgan, Esq.

Erin Colgan is a native Staten Islander and currently resides with her family on the North Shore of Staten Island. She is an alumna of Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island), the State University of New York College at Cortland and Rutgers Law School.

Ms. Colgan is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is a former Assistant District Attorney with the Richmond County District Attorney's office where she concentrated on prosecuting domestic violence and special victims cases during her time with the office.

Following this period of public service as a Staten Island prosecutor, Ms. Colgan joined the law firm of William J. Leininger, and exclusively devoted her time there to Family/Matrimonial practice and Divorce Mediation. She is also a trained and certified Divorce Mediator.

Her current practice is dedicated to the areas of Family/Matrimonial Law, Divorce Mediation and Criminal Law.

Ms. Colgan is a member of the Richmond County Bar Association, Staten Island Women's Bar Association, New York Bar Association, the New York State Mediation Organization and the Business and Professional Women's Organization.
